Cleygaerd
General
- Cleygaerd assumes that the participant or hirer has carefully read these Terms & Conditions.
- By paying the invoice or providing written confirmation, a binding agreement with Cleygaerd comes into effect.
- Cleygaerd complies with the GDPR and handles privacy-sensitive information with care. Photos are only taken or shared with consent.
Payment
- For activities (e.g. High Tea): the reservation is confirmed upon receipt of the deposit (€55).
- For rental of the Boshuis/Tuinkamer: the reservation is confirmed upon 50% advance payment of the rental amount. The balance and deposit (€150) must be paid no later than 7 days before the rental period.
- The deposit is refunded within 5 working days after the rental period, provided the space has been used correctly.
- Invoices are sent by e-mail with all payment information and terms.
Risk and liability
- Participation in activities or use of spaces is at your own risk.
- Cleygaerd is not liable for accidents, damage or loss of belongings, unless caused by gross negligence or intent on the part of Cleygaerd.
- Medical or psychological circumstances that may affect participation or use must be reported in advance.
- The hirer/participant is responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their guests.
Cancellation
Cancellation of an activity by email:
- 100% refund up to 4 weeks before the start
- 75% up to 3 weeks before the start
- 50% up to 2 weeks before the start
- 25% up to 1 week before the start
- 0% in the final week or in case of no-show
Cleygaerd may cancel activities or hire in the event of force majeure or unsafe conditions. An alternative date will be offered in consultation.
Use of the Boshuis and Tuinkamer
- The spaces are intended for small-scale activities or gatherings approved by Cleygaerd.
- The hirer/participant must use the spaces and inventory with care and leave them in their original condition.
- Smoking, open flames or candles indoors are not permitted. Amplified music outdoors is prohibited.
- Cleygaerd may refuse access or terminate an activity in the event of unsafe behaviour or violation of the house rules.
Complaints
- Any complaints must be reported during the activity or rental period.
- Complaints submitted afterwards will be taken into consideration during evaluation but do not entitle a refund.
