Worteltuin
We are a Worteltuin. A Worteltuin is a wonderful place to explore (and, where needed, rebuild) the bond between parent and child in private, relaxed and informal surroundings. For more information, see Stichting Wortel. The garden has a park-like character, a woodland garden. It covers 1 hectare, is enclosed, and has a spacious private car park. On the left the grounds are separated from the Bergbos by brush walls and a ditch. At the rear the boundary runs up to the farmland; on the right, brush walls and a fence form the boundary with the neighbours' land. In the Tuinkamer you can craft at the table or play a game cosily indoors when the weather turns. Halfway through the garden you'll find the Tuinkamer and a large pond, and beyond the pond a nature campsite with tent pitches that flows into the orchard. From the orchard, you can take the gnome trail. On a first visit, Monique welcomes guests and shows them around. During visits, with respect for people, animals and nature, parents, children and their support person are given all the space they need.

During visits, parent and child don't only meet; they can also do things together, such as:
When is the Worteltuin open?
Visits to the Worteltuin are by appointment. Please contact Monique to arrange one; she's happy to explain what's possible in the garden.
